Bhilai steel plant invites application form young, energetic and positive minded individuals for the post of  Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) and Operator cum Technician (Trainee).

Eligibility:

Age: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 28 years as on 01/01/2013.For the post of ACT (Trainee), relaxation in age up to 40 years as on 01/01/2013 shall be admissible to ex-Trade Apprentices of Bhilai Steel Plant who have passed AITT (up to batch 75) up to the year 2001.

Essential Qualification:

For the Post of ACT (Trainee)

ITI holders -Matriculation with ITI from recognised institution in any of the following trades:
Fitter, Mason, Welder, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Computer Operator Programming Assistant, Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Draftsman.

For HVD Trade- Matriculation with Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) License having one year experience in Operation of Tipper.

For the Post of OCT (Trainee)

Diploma holders- Matriculation with Diploma in Engineering from recognised institution in any of the following trades: - Metallurgy, Civil, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical/Mechtronics, Refractory/Ceramic, Electronic, Chemical and Instrumentation

Candidates having the prescribed qualification as given above can apply against the respective posts and Trade / Discipline.

Training Period:

The selected candidates will be placed on training for the initial period of two years.

Consolidated Pay during training period:

For the Post of ACT (Trainee) - During training period, a consolidated pay of ` 8,600/- p.m. during 1st year and `10,000/- p.m. during 2nd year will be paid. After successful completion of training period, candidates will be regularised in the regular grade/ pay scale of ` 8630- 3%-12080/- (S-1).

For the Post of OCT (Trainee) - During training period, a consolidated pay of` 10,700/- p.m. during 1st year and ` 12,200/- p.m. during 2nd year will be paid. After successful completion of training period, candidates will be regularised in the regular grade/ pay scale of ` 9160-3%-13150/- (S-3).

The Pay scales are under revision.

Application Fees:

Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) of ` 150/- for ACT (Trainee) post and ` 250/- for OCT (Trainee) post as application and processing fee for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwD/departmental candidates to possess Pay in Slip of Rs. 50/- only as processing fee. The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details

Mode of payment:

State Bank of India has been authorised to collect the application and processing fee, in a specially opened account No. 32549519300 at Sector -1 Branch, Bhilai, on behalf of BSP, SAIL. Candidate has to  approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “SBI Challan” which is available on the Application Registration Portal.
